Due to lack of entertainment. In other words, I was BORED.
Fire Emblem 8.5: Rise of Darkness
Prologue: Plight of the Manakete*
The moon shone weakly above the continent of Magvel. Everything was bathed in the soft glow of twilight. Not a creature stirred. Well, not all of them were asleep. Somewhere near the heart of Darkling Woods, somebody was fighting his way through the undergrowth, and that somebody was Saleh. Earlier that night, a sudden burst of red flames had been sighted over Darkling Woods. He was worried, for deep in the heart of Darkling Woods lived two manakete. Two who were needed to keep the balance of good and evil constant.
In the heart of Darkling Woods...
"Myrrh, will he come?"
A timid manakete asked her elder, the indigo-haired Myrrh. "Don't worry, Mia. He'll come. Saleh never breaks his promises." Myrrh replied confidently. Timid Mia nodded slightly and proceeded to look down at the ground. Myrrh sighed and looked up at the night sky. They had been interrupted from their peaceful slumber not too long ago. Mia had awoken, crying. Both of them knew why. Manakete were known for being able to sense the auras of their environment and the two of them had sensed a very dark aura, one that was similiar to that of the Demon King. Mia's powers had not been honed to that point, but she received her vision in the form of a nightmare. 'Saleh... Please come soon.'
"Ugh!"
Saleh winced as he stumbled over another rock hidden by the undergrowth. He needed to get to the heart of the forest, and fast. If the two descendants of the Great Dragon were in danger, he had to save them. Or the Elder would torture him in ways he couldn't imagine. 'Myrrh, Mia... Please be alright.' "Saleh!"
Mia looked up from the ground as Myrrh cried out with relief. So he had come. She looked back at the ground as her senior and the wise sage conversed hurriedly. Then... "Mia." Hurriedly, she looked up. Myrrh smiled at her kindly and she nodded. Breathing in deeply, she began to recount her ghastly nightmare...
The sky above her was tainted red with blood. The ground was dominated by roaming monsters. Mia was taking refuge in a tree, shaking so hard that her teeth chattered. She watched with frightened eyes and bated breath as revenants, entombed, mauthe doogs, cyclops, bael, torzans and gorgons walked beneath her leafy refuge. Suddenly, a voice echoed through out the land, turning her surrounding environment dark. "Soon this land will belong to the Demon King Formortiis once more..." Several different faces flashed before her eyes. She awoke.
Saleh's brow furrowed with concentration. There was a prophecy of old that told of an event like Mia's dream. No... It couldn't be.... "The Demon King's legacy will be revived once more, and if we do not stop it, the world will be swallowed by darkness."
= End Prologue =
*-> Manakete: A part-human, part-dragon being. Eh.
The Prophecy: When the Manakete senses a Dark force soon to rise, 5 Countries must go to war to restore our future's light.
I REALLY should be getting to bed now. See ya!
