This is who I am

Why hello. Welcome to the place where my dreams roam. I suppose you ought to know who I am.
I go by many names. Here, you may refer to me as Delta. Of course, you can use my other names, if you know them.
The Earth was blessed with my presence on 10th January. Of course, this means that my birthstone is the GARNET. Oh, I'm a Capricon too, of course. And I was born in the year of the PIG.
I am a girl who prefers to be left alone when it is OBVIOUS that I want to be. People may mistake these signs for my Emo mode, and then come and bother me, trying to 'cheer me up'. If I suddenly stop talking to you, it means that I'm in my 'Deep Thoughts' mode. Just don't talk to me. I'll go back to my normal, default mode soon.
Well, that's all I think you need to know about me. Use your detective skills to find out more about the mysterious Authoress, okay? I'm too lazy to lay out my personality for everyone to see.

Monday, 1 September 2008 - Memories :

I was feeling emotional, cos yesterday my grandfather's finger got clamped by a crab's pincer and he wouldn't stop bleeding cos of his medicine... We had to bring him to the polyclinic today... I was so worried... Yesterday I was so scared...

Since she was young he's cared for her. He was there when she was hungry, when she was ill, when she took her first steps. He was always there for her, and he still is.
Despite his physical disability, he always knew when she was hungry, when she was tired, when she was just plain grumpy. He was always there when she needed him, and he still is.
Whenever she fell sick, he was always there to care for her. When she needed to go to the doctor. When she refused to take medicine. When she was so ill she threw up after forcing her medicine down. He was always there for her, and he still is.
On the only occasion she was hospitalised, he worried. She was only 5 and she was down with pneumonia. She stayed in hospital for a week and he visited her daily. He was there for her then and he still is now.
Whenever she had sudden food cravings, he tried his best to cook what she wanted. Steamboat on Chinese New Year. Curry stingray whenever she wanted it. Steamed crabs at her whims and fancies. He gave his all for her and he still does.
When she injured herself, he was always by her side. When she fell from a chair and banged her knee, he was there to comfort her and soothe the pain. When she accidentally scalded herself, he was there to help her ease the pain. Whenever she met with mishaps, he was there to help her and he still is.
But now his once black hair has turned white with a silver tint, the bright gleam in his eyes has dulled, his hands quiver occasionally and he relies on medicine to keep himself healthy.
When she looks at the ghost of her grandfather, she can't help but shed a single crystal tear.

Sniff... Sorry for making you worry about me, grandfather...
